I want to be a Computer Hardware Technician. This is because I like building computers and Computer Hardware Technicians intall computer systems. To be part of this I would most likely need a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. Computer Hardware Technicians normally trouble-shoot computer problems, install computer systems, set up hardware, install softwear, perform regular hardware upgrades, and softwear upgrades/updates. I would be making around $50,000 a year, and I would need to be able to manage hardwear and softwear and also be good at problem solving. I think I could see my self in this career, I think this becuase I already do this for my friends and family.
A computer Hardware Engineer designs and makes computer parts. They normally make around $100,000 a year. I would need to get a bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a related field. The skills I would need are analytical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, also knowing computer languages, operating systems, circuit design, and system design, I also need to know how to work with CAD well. I can see myself doing this because one it makes a good amount of money and I make things that I like working with
I want to go to MIT for College. This is because MIT is the best in computer science and also I liked going to Boston. I would need to get at least a 4.17 gpa, score in the 70th percentile of the SAT or around 1570. I also need to pass the swimming test for MIT or take two PE swimming courses. I think I would be able to get in becuase I scored high on the PSAT and also I have I 5.0 GPA at the moment
